Bella Sorella sisters Angie and Kym were raised in the high desert of Grand Junction, Colorado and explored the Southwest on road trips where the rules were; no maps, and no asking directions, except from people who looked lost.
Given that, it was no surprise that they chose similar career paths - psychiatric nursing and tractor sales (same customers!)
By impersonating hotel guests, they learned to snorkel together at a pricey resort in the Cayman Islands. They also learned that you can't laugh underwater wearing a snorkel mask. They've never snorkeled together since, but they laugh together almost every day.
Which is complicated by the fact that Angie lives in California and Kym lives in Virginia. This separation is remedied by a good long-distance plan, frequent flyer miles, and tolerant husbands.
Kym taught Angie to knit - 2 or 3 times - and while searching for the perfect knitting bag, they ended up designing their own over the phone. To their amazement, everyone who saw it wanted one, and they backed into the creation of Bella Sorella.

Hi:
Whew! The shows are finished for 2011. I am hoping to get a lot of work done on this website over the winter. Maybe you will actually see some of the products here that you have all been seeing at the shows this year!!! Especially the new kits, and the line of patterns. I will try to get all of those up online in 2012.
Please bear with me!
It was great to see all of you at the shows this year, and I look forward to seeing you again in 2012. The show schedule is now complete, and online!
The shop is not open at this time, but we are always available for phone calls (although it is usually easier to get ahold of me with an e-mail since I am not always in to answer the phone), and mail order.
For those of you who saw us at the summer/fall shows, just to let you know.....Carol is doing well. She has finished chemo, and they do not find any cancer cells in her body! She is slowly gaining strength, and will be with me at Stitches West.
And, my husband is also recovering well from his open heart surgery.
2012 has to be a better year!!!
